Hmm it's about 1hr 30mins more until 2010, well here in Singapore. Countries like Auckland already celebrated their new year, haha.
Just like any other year, the journey seemed long, only until the end, everything seemed as if it just zoomed past. To think back about it.
Upper Sec. New Class. SYF2009. Taking over Choir. OBS. Concert. Farewell 09
I guess this are just the few highlights of 2009. Not many, but always remembered. It'll take time to get used to writing 4E instead of 3E now. and also the 2010 instead of the 2009 on the dates now. 3 years just zoom, and we're now secondary 4s. and soon out of AHS :D
Next year.
Riva Del Garda. O Levels. Handover. and more.
Let's hope next year would be a good year for all of us.
I'll just end here, wishing everyone a
Happy New Year 2010!

Wow. Has it been that long?
About 1 month past already. 1 week of the school holidays are already over.
was a hectic week i should say, choir day camp. i hope the members enjoyed the camp(:
i'm finally so bored that i decided to actually return to blogging.
apart from that, my blog is so dead, that i can think so anything to continue the sentence.
just bloody tag, for goodness sake, haha.
this week's gonna be the last week of choir. or so i presume.
nonetheless, i'm going overseas again next week. where? it's the ohsonotsurprising hongkong. oh well, at least, this time, i'm not returning to disney land again. (:
hmm. last week. choir camp. tuesday-friday.
tuesday was just pure hell. practice for 8hrs. (note to self, never do that again) no need for any elaborations i guess?
wednesday. more enjoyable? 5hrs of practice + 3 hours of games. captains ball and dog&bone. played in a match of captains ball. alright, those who were in the same match, knew i was somehow crazy or somewad close. shan't elaborate too. (x
thursday. i guess i lost my voice through the captain's ball previously. missed morning practice. went back during afternoon and facilitated and sectionals.
friday. short morning pract. ended with the games of mystery and water bombs. nothing to end the whole camp with water bombs. though i was just running around getting people to get their bags out of the aesthetic block before the people lock the shutters and curse the choir people. oh well at least i got to bomb, ashley, yeeying, eugenia and jolin. good enough. i guess the next possible time to have this game would be cca orientation? (: i'm just lazy to elaborate on the mystery game. well, my job was just - bored.
that's my last week for you.
had meeting today for numerous things. hope it was more productive.
hmm, life has been revolving around choir again.
i guess it's alright to do that during the holidays(:
got to start on my holiday homework soon. ):
soon. and soon is subjective(:
choir jiayou during practices alright
next year's gonna be a tough one.
you reap what you sow.

School's starting on normal lessons again. and there'll be extended lessons, aka alps. It's supposedly to give the sec3s a headstart in the sec4 syllables. However, from what i see, it's more like, to catch up on what the sec3s missed. Oh how wonderful.Miss Noriff showed the class this video called Fahrenheit 9/11. Somehow, weirdly, it actually made me curious to find out more about the supposedly planned attack. We didn't manage to finish the video though, i'll guess i'll just have to come across it in some video shop one day.Apart from that, choir's overseas trip is someho
w confirmed. Our destination? One of which, that is, Venice, or should i say the sinking Venice.

I'm really quite out of topics to talk about on this blog.
sometimes i really wonder, is there that much things to blog about?
Quite a sad thing yea? A place with such rich culture and history. Sinking. And here we are in Singapore, cursing and swearing at just the puddle of water infront of the bus stops. Yup, call me Geography Nerd or whatever, but, have you wondered, like is the World going to end so soon? Like please, i'm not even 20 yet, and the World is ending. With or the natural disasters.
And i guess, the year in which most religious groups or other groups have place their bet on, for the world to end, would be just less than 3 years from now. 2012.
Some predictions made by various groups:
1. Mayan Calendar
The first mob to predict 2012 as the end of the world were the Mayans, a bloodthirsty race that were good at two things:
1. Building highly accurate astrological equipment out of stone
2. Sacrificing Virgins.

Thousands of years ago they managed to calculate the length of the lunar moon as 329.53020 days, only 34 seconds out. (Quite amazing, yea?) The Mayan calendar predicts that the Earth will end on December 21, 2012. Given that they were pretty close to the mark with the lunar cycle, it's likely they've got the end of the world right as well.
2. Sun Storms

Solar experts from around the world monitoring the sun have made a startling discovery: our sun is in a bit of strife. The energy output of the sun is, like most things in nature, cyclic, and it's supposed to be in the middle of a period of relative stability. However, recent solar storms have been bombarding the Earth with so much radiation energy, it's been knocking out power grids and destroying satellites. This activity is predicted to get worse, and calculations suggest it'll reach its deadly peak sometime in 2012
4. Super Volcano

Yellowstone National Park in the United States is famous for its thermal springs and Old Faithful geyser. The reason for this is simple - it's sitting on top of the world's biggest volcano, and geological experts are beginning to get nervous sweats. The Yellowstone volcano has a pattern of erupting every 650,000 years or so, and we're many years overdue for an explosion that will fill the atmosphere with ash, blocking the sun and plunging the Earth into a frozen winter that could last up to 15,000 years. The pressure under the Yellowstone is building steadily, and geologists have set 2012 as a likely date for the big bang.
5.The Physicists
This one's case of bog-simple maths mathematics. Physicists at Berekely Uni have been crunching the numbers. and they've determined that the Earth is well overdue for a major catastrophic event. Even worse, they're claiming their calculations prove, that we're all going to die, very soon - while also saying their prediction comes with a certainty of 99 percent- and 2012 just happens to be the best guess as to when it occurs.
6. Slip-Slop-Slap-BANG!
We all know the Earth is surrounded by a magnetic field that sheilds us from most of the sun's radiation. What you might not know is that the magnetic poles we call north and south have a nasty habit of swapping places every 750,000 years or so - and right now we're about 30,000 years overdue. Scientists have noted that the poles are drifting apart roughly 20-30kms each year, much faster than ever before, which points to a pole-shift being right around the corner. While the pole shift is underway, the magnetic field is disrupted and will eventually disappear, sometimes for up to 100 years. The result is enough UV outdoors to crisp your skin in seconds, killing everything it touches.

So all we can do now, is to enjoy life?
Kinda ironic eh, from someone who lives in a country, with an education system which doesn't have the word "enjoy", unless with the word not infront, in their dictionary.
Alright then.
That's enough information for a day.

The final year exams are finally over!
There's no deny that there'll be this burst of happiness after the almost never ending continuously 1 week of exams are finally over.

it has already been around 1mth since i posted.
school has been filled with tests every week. next week would be a killer.
3 tests in 3 consecutive days. isn't that like exactly what are primary schools are doing? but for them its their CA2, while its just Common Test for us. 2 more weeks until the september holidays.
i got this feeling it won't be really of a holiday, as it will be a time of extreme revision. but who cares, i really need the break.
i'm not getting my sleep lately, causing myself to be cranky. ah. school.
choir seems to be my only time of relaxation now, but, there won't be choir on monday.
more time for mugging. yay. i can't wait. -.-
ahh my laptop's gonna die.
oh well, till then. bye.

the time when someone feels that he has not been making right decisions, is the time when he is really not making the right decisions.
the time when someone thinks that he has not been prioritizing well, is the time when he is indeed not been prioritizing well.
the time when someone realises that he is lazy, is the time when he is truly lazy.
i need to start reorganizing my priorities; and not over driven my passion and fun.
i need to know when's the limit; and start working things out.
i guess its time to hits to the books, once again.
